What do the the stats say?

It’s no secret that new build homes are incredibly energy efficient, but it doesn’t hurt to have it backed up by fact. The Homebuilders Federation (HBF) carry out research throughout the year to continuously update potential cost savings and energy efficiency ratings of new build homes like ours, in line with quarterly government EPC data and changes to energy costs.

WATT A SAVE

Enviable savings on your energy bills

The average new build home energy bill is 57% cheaper than running costs for older properties, whilst new build homes are typically also 66% more energy efficient.

That means homeowners could save up to £183 a month in energy bills — which adds up to a substantial £2,195 a year.*

WATT A SAVE

Sustainable as standard

New build homes are increasingly more energy efficient with 85% of new builds achieving an A or B EPC rating compared to less than 5% of older properties.

In even better news, new build properties built to new sustainability regulations from June 2023 onwards are estimated to save homeowners living in a new build house up to £2,575 on their annual energy bills.*
