If you’re looking for things to do in Northwich, you won’t be disappointed – the town offers plenty of activities, amenities and leisure facilities to keep you and your family occupied. Head half a mile over to Moss Farm Leisure Complex for football practice, swimming and gym equipment, or sign up for sports at the Northwich Rugby Club or the Cheshire Football Association located right next door.

If you prefer bird watching to running, the Marshall’s Arm Nature Reserve is only 1 mile away from the development, close enough for daily outings if you like to unwind after work. You can also take a stroll around the River Weaver hiking trail or enjoy a dog walk across Winnington’s local Jubilee Fields.

As for the kids, head out to the Sandeman Crescent Football & Basketball Court to play sports with your teens and let them loose at the playground. Teach them about the local history at the Lion Salt Works museum or take them over to the Wild Tots soft play centre on rainy days.

Northwich has plenty of options for travel, whether you prefer to drive or take public transport. You can take the local A-roads to Chester, Manchester or Liverpool, or drive 22 minutes to the M6 for a straight shot to Birmingham or Preston.

Greenbank Train Station is only a 17-minute walk away from Winnington Place, running trains directly to Manchester and Chester within an hour. Change at either city for services across the country, including trains to Liverpool, London and even Glasgow.

For local transport, head over to the Armitage Way bus stop to take the N4 bus into Northwich, where you can do your shopping, meet with friends or change buses to get to surrounding villages.
