There are plenty of things to do in Flint and the surrounding areas, whether you’re heading out on your own, planning a date night or entertaining the kids.

Croes Atti is only a 20-minute drive from Chester Zoo, one of the most popular conservation zoos in the UK. With over 35,000 animals and 128 acres to explore, the zoo is a fantastic way to spend a day with the kids.

Are you into bird watching? The nearby Hilbre island has a bird observatory where you can view species such as sanderlings, plovers and egrets. The island is also a beautiful viewpoint to visit, whether your family shares your passion for birds or not. Just take care not to disturb the ground nesters!

Closer to the development, Wepre Park offers 160 acres of green space to explore, including castle ruins and a waterfall, while The Pandy, a nearby fishing pond, is perfect for anyone looking to stretch their legs with a stroll in nature. Living close to the sea wouldn’t be complete without the ability to get close to the water. Transport for Wales and Avanti West Coast trains both operate regular services through Flint train station, making it a great starting point for country-wide travel. A short 5-minute drive away from the development, the station has links to London Euston, Manchester and Liverpool, alongside many smaller stations across the UK and Wales.
